Using Web 2.0 as an Affiliate Marketing Tool

If you aren’t familiar with Web 2.0, I’ll make it easy for you. Blogs, MySpace, Digg, Twitter, Squidoo--all are part of the Web 2.0 family. Now, it’s time you start using Web 2.0 as an affiliate marketing tool.

We all know the traditional way of creating a web page, driving traffic to it and testing and tracking the progress. Blogs, Squidoo, Hubpages, etc. has opened the door to a whole new way of promoting your affiliate business. By joining in the discussions or even starting your own, you can market your affiliate products and build a list of like-minded individuals at the same time. Remember, these sites were not meant to be sales pages, and you shouldn’t use them as such. Mention your affiliate marketing business through discussions when appropriate and you will do just fine with your home business.
