An Affiliate Marketing Strategy that Won’t Earn You the Trust of Other Marketers

People who are successful at internet marketing like to work in tandem with others; they want to build successful, profitable, long-lasting relationships with other marketers because this is where the big money is made. But not every affiliate marketing strategy is conducive to a long-term relationship with other successful people.

If you use black-hat tactics, many marketers will invoke the law of association and determine that your mind-set is for the short-term as well. Heavy use of black-hat tactics can show others that you’re only interested in whatever will make you a quick dollar. This is not the kind of person that other marketers want to form a relationship with!

Why Tracking is Important for Your Affiliate Marketing Business

Anyone who really knows how to make money online knows the importance of tracking. Tracking can both save your funds and increase your profits. That's why it's such an essential part of any affiliate marketing business.

By installing tracking on your site's pages, you'll know where your traffic comes from. You'll know what links people are using the most, and what keywords they're using to find your pages.

Just as importantly, you'll know which pages are making the majority of your sales. Then you can focus on those keywords and page types that bring you the majority of your affiliate income.

Finally, it can also tell you what advertisements are bringing in traffic from buyers and what ads are bringing in traffic that simply browses. Cut out the browsers and you'll save money. Spend those ad funds on the buyers, and you'll have a thriving affiliate marketing business!

Making Money with Affiliate Marketing by Running a Review Website

Making money with affiliate marketing can be easy when you use a review website.

The main reason is that you don't need as much traffic when you run a review site. This is because the vast majority of your traffic is already ready to buy. They are either not sure what they want to buy (they need to compare reviews) or they want a good review to justify their purchasing decision.

(Most purchases are made for emotional reasons and only justified with other reasons after the fact. Review sites can help with this.)

Review websites are great because you get fewer browsers and many more buyers--and the browsers you do get will be in "buying mode," with several products to choose from!

How to Start Affiliate Marketing Without Selling Products

Did you know that you can make money online with internet marketing, without ever selling a single thing? It's true! But not many people know how to start affiliate marketing without actually selling any products.

The key here is to find a good CPA (cost-per-action) network and find some of its better offers. There are many companies who will pay you if you can get people to take a survey, download a software trial, or order an information packet.

These companies have all determined how many leads they need to make one sale, and how much that sale is worth to them. They are only too happy to give you a portion of that sale's worth--if you can help them make it!

Pre-selling is Key to Successful Affiliate Marketing

You don't have to know how to sell anything to engage in successful affiliate marketing. After all, someone has already written the sales page--all you have to do is get people there. But if you want those people to be more likely to buy, it will help if you engage in some pre-selling.

How do you pre-sell? By providing people with content that talks about the problems they have and are seeking solutions for. You hit their emotional hot buttons and fire them up to do something about those problems.

This will make them much more likely to click on your affiliate link--and much more likely to buy when they get there!
